Drone Register is a small, privately owned online service. We help recreational drone pilots in the United States get through FAA registration without wrestling with government portals, account creation, or confusing terminology. Our team builds and maintains the registration form, checks each submission by hand, files it with the FAA, and keeps the guides on this site up to date.
What we do

- We file your FAA recreational registration on your behalf.
- We email you the official FAA Certificate of Registration, usually within a few hours and always within 24 hours.

What exactly you are buying
You are buying a service fee for preparation, checking, and filing — not the registration itself. The registration is issued by the FAA, and the certificate you receive is the official FAA Certificate of Registration in your own name, valid for three years.
How our fee works
The FAA charges a $5 government fee per recreational registration. Our fee is charged for our own service — checking your details, preparing and submitting the filing, and delivering your certificate — and is in addition to that government fee. Everything is shown in full before you pay.
